As the founder of SDGKidsConnect, Derin advocates for innovative uses of artificial intelligence to advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, from eradicating poverty to building strong international partnerships. He has spoken about financing sustainable development and the role of data and AI at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum. A dedicated member of the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, Derin also serves as a leader at NextGenNav, where he focuses on AI ethics and pioneering solutions to global issues.
