The third SDG aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
SDG 3 addresses issues such as reducing maternal and child mortality, combating infectious diseases, ensuring universal access to healthcare services, and promoting mental health and well-being.
To achieve this goal, countries are encouraged to strengthen their healthcare systems, invest in medical infrastructure, improve healthcare access in remote and underserved areas, and increase access to essential medicines and vaccines.
Awareness campaigns to prevent diseases are also important. Efforts toward this goal play a vital role in enhancing overall human development and fostering productive and resilient societies.
If you're not sure about which goal to start with, it's a great idea to start here: The United Nations Joint Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Fund unites global expertise, strategic partnerships and innovative networks throughout the United Nations to accelerate progress toward the SDGs.
