GOAL 5: GENDER EQUALITY
The fifth SDG seeks to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
This goal seeks to address the issue of gender inequality and discrimination, which affects women and girls worldwide, limiting their access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and political representation.
To achieve this goal, the international community can work to create policies and strategies to empower women and girls, eliminate gender-based violence and harmful practices, increase women's representation in leadership and decision-making positions, and improve access to essential services and resources.
