The sixteenth SDG aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and transparent institutions at all levels.
It addresses issues related to violence, conflict, corruption, and weak governance that undermine progress and hinder social cohesion.
To achieve this, countries can promote the rule of law, ensure equal access to justice, and reduce all forms of violence and abuse.
It also emphasizes the importance of building strong institutions that are responsive, inclusive, and transparent in their decision-making processes.
