The second SDG aims to end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.
There’s an urgent need to address the challenges of food insecurity and malnutrition that persist in many parts of the world.
To achieve this goal, countries are encouraged to invest in sustainable agricultural practices, improve rural infrastructure, enhance productivity, and support small-scale farmers.
It’s also important to reduce food waste and promote equitable distribution of food resources. Efforts toward this goal are crucial in advancing global food security.
If you're not sure about which goal to start with, it's a great idea to start here: The United Nations Joint Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Fund unites global expertise, strategic partnerships and innovative networks throughout the United Nations to accelerate progress toward the SDGs.
